On Sunday or Monday morning the elusive Easter Bunny visits, hiding chocolate eggs around the garden in nests and secret places (having first thoughtfully placed unwrapped eggs in paper cake cases to deter ants). He cheekily uses camouflage techniques: green eggs in green bushes, light blue ones amongst the hydrangeas, and so on. Then the kids go out with decorated baskets to collect as many as they can, bringing back their goodies to share (rather than wolfing them down en route).
If your children want more of a challenge, you can ask the Bunny to leave numbered written clues or riddles in blown eggs leading to a treasure trove of chocolate eggs hidden deep in the garden, park or woods. If you don't know how to contact the Easter Bunny, try Googling him. |
