You can make the most dramatic mosaics with rocks, seaweed, stones, shells and other bits and bobs you find on the beach.
Collect the most dramatically coloured and shaped stones, shells etc you can find, then look at your trove and decide what mosaic to create. We've made flowers, hearts, mermaids, lobsters, towering stone buildings and funky abstract patterns. You can build it on rock or sand (very biblical) or hide it away in a cove or crevice. Take a photograph when you've finished, then leave it for others to see and the tide to wash away.
