There's no Scottish in our family but we've still always celebrated Burns supper with haggis, which the kids really like with a bit of butter mixed in, and neeps (which they're less keen on). Grown ups get a slug of smoky, peaty Laphroaig whisky to round it off. This year the kids are fighting over who gets to stab the haggis so it's going to be doubly done in, puir wee beastie! |
