Hi Nicky, Jane passed this one on to me - I think it had to do with the idea of swimming on New Years Day! You do throw us some challenges but I don't know if even I am up to this one, but who knows. Now the swimming costume. Jane is progressing well with the frilly skirt, that covers the indecent top of the legs up, well on its way. I was assigned the knickers and found a lovely volunteer at my work who was thrilled at the idea of knitting them so I think that they are progressing well. It looks as if my contribution may have to be the dip! |

Jane, I know this is a bit off-topic, but how is your knitted swimming costume coming on? It is such a mad idea (imagine the drag when you get out of the water) that I think it should have a really mad christening when it is finished. The obvious choice would be to wear it along with the other mad swimmers who make a point of going in the sea on New Years Day, no matter what the weather is like. |
